About the house

A studio for intelligent software — and the parent to everything we build.

Wolf Automations is the trading name of Wolf AI, Inc. — a small, senior team of engineers, designers, and operators who ship AI automation, custom software, and our own SaaS products under one roof.

Our story

Built by operators, for operators.

Wolf Automations exists because the two ways software traditionally gets built — by consultancies that bill for slides, or by agencies that ship from templates — both quietly fail the people who have to run the business afterward.

We're that third thing: a small house of engineers and designers who've spent their careers inside operating companies, not just pitching them. We know what broken looks like from the inside. We also know what good feels like when it finally arrives.

Wolf AI, Inc. is the legal parent — a California company founded with a simple premise. AI has compounded to the point where a small, senior team can build software with the production quality of an enterprise engineering org, at a fraction of the cost and a multiple of the speed. That's the opportunity. Our job is to execute on it, relentlessly.

We split our work two ways. Under Wolf Automations, we take on client engagements — custom automation, AI integration, and end-to-end software builds for companies that need a real partner. And we ship our own SaaS products under the Wolf family — the first being PlanPull (planpull.ai) — AI-powered material takeoffs for the construction industry, with more already in motion.

That's the whole plan. No massive headcount. No VC runway theater. No motion without product. Just good software that earns its place, shipped by people who give a damn.

What we believe

Three principles that decide every call we make.

VALUE 01

Ship, don't perform

Presentations are not products. Roadmaps are not results. We measure ourselves on what's running in production and what it earned for the business — not on how impressive the slide deck was.

VALUE 02

Craft compounds

Small details are leverage. The extra pass on the UI, the second look at the schema, the one more test — these aren't perfectionism. They're what keeps a codebase maintainable, a product loved, and a brand intact five years in.

VALUE 03

Own your work, own your word

Our estimates hold. Our handoffs are complete. Our systems come with the source, the docs, and the phone number. We say what we'll do, then we do it. This is not a differentiator where we come from — but apparently it is in this industry.

Corporate

One company. Two modes. A family of products.

The structure lets us move quickly on both sides — client work funds the lab, the lab informs the client work.

PARENT

Wolf AI, Inc.

The legal entity. California corporation. Holds all IP, all products, all contracts. Everything else is a brand or trading name that operates under this roof.

STUDIO

Wolf Automations

Our client-facing practice. This is where the custom automation, AI integration, and bespoke software engagements live. If you've hired us to build something, you're a Wolf Automations client.

LAB

The Product Lab

Our in-house SaaS operation. PlanPull is the first launch — AI takeoffs for contractors and estimators. Others are in incubation. Each launches under its own brand with its own team, but runs on shared infrastructure, shared research, and shared craft standards.

Manifesto
The best software feels inevitable — like it couldn't have been designed any other way.
What we work toward, daily
Small by design
Senior team only. No layers, no junior offshoring, no "we'll get back to you after we check with engineering."
US-based
Headquartered in California. All work performed by employees, never offshored without explicit consent.
Direct access
You work with the people who build your software. Not a producer, not an account manager — the actual engineers and designers.
Zero subcontracting
What we promise, we build. No surprise third parties. No "our partner will handle that part."
Working together

Two good reasons to pick up the phone.

You need something built and you want it done right. Or you want to partner on a product and split the upside. Either one, we should talk.
